An interhouse quiz on current affairs was conducted on 9th July 2012. Four children participated from each house. 

The Cheetah house comprising of Amogh, Sanjana, Nagaraj and Yogesh secured the first place. 

The Elephant house with Avinish, Shivprasad, Divya and Vishwanath was the runners up.

The children of 4th and 5th grade had a competition in flying parachutes. Whose ever parachute remained in the air for the longest time was considered the winner. School kids were encouraged to build parachutes.They collected plastic sheets, nylon clothes, string and light weights for suspension. A general pattern was given to them. But they were told that any modification can be made as they think.

Gourav of 5th grade and Nayana B.G. of 4th grade beat everyone else in flying the parachutes for the longest time.
