The 2nd National Level Clap Skating Competitions were held at the Harihar Skating Rink recently. Kids from our school won quite a few laurels including being part of the Karnataka team that went on to bag the overall Championship. Congratulations to all the winners and parents who worked tirelessly to ensure their success. A special appreciation to Ms Soumya, our school P.E teacher also is an avid skate coach herself, for training up the kids.

The yearly Pragathi Interschool Fest organised by KIAMS, MBA Institute was held on the 14th of February at their campus in Harihar. Students of Amrutha Varshini Vidyalaya bagged a few prizes in Rangoli, Group Dance, Fancy Dress and Sports. Here are a few snaps from the event. Kudos to all winners !!
Students of Classes 1, 2 and 3 got themselves engrossed in clay modelling. When posed the question, if they were enjoying making clay models, one retorted, "Sir, can we do this everyday?". Surely, they enjoyed themselves to the fullest as is evident from the photos below.

Drawing and Painting Competition brought to the forefront some young budding talent to the fore. The creations by class 4,5,6 and 7 children were both creative and mesmerising.

Cardboard Races were held for classes 1 to 6 on the 17th and 21st of August. The races involved teams of 2 members each competing to cross the finish line first while ensuring that they work as a team. One member of the team lays the cardboards in quick succession while the other steps on them while making sure that both his legs are firmly planted on two cardboards at any given point in the race.
