The yearly Pragathi Interschool Fest organised by KIAMS, MBA Institute was held on the 14th of February at their campus in Harihar. Students of Amrutha Varshini Vidyalaya bagged a few prizes in Rangoli, Group Dance, Fancy Dress and Sports. Here are a few snaps from the event. Kudos to all winners !!

Teacher's Day was celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm on 5th September. Various competitions including Quiz, Musical Chairs, Bombing the City, Rangoli competition, etc were held for teachers. Teachers also presented some graceful dances in the form of Highland Dance, Kolata nritya, etc.

The Independence Day was observed with great pomp and show. The school pupil leader Miss Sankalpa hoisted the national tricolour. The Chairman Mr. P.K. Prakash Rao, addressing the gathering of school children, staff and parents, lauded the efforts put by Mahatma Gandhiji and scores of patriots in attaining freedom for the country from the despotic rule of the British. He called on everyone to put service before self and contribute their mite in building up the nation.
The children in colourful dresses put up a number of dances with patriotic theme. The highland dance displayed by senior children was quite impressive. The kids sang songs beaming their love and affection for the country. A number of children spoke on national freedom struggle. The Principal Ms. Chetana V. Rao complemented the children and their teachers for their excellent performance. Sweets were distributed to all the children. A luncheon was arranged for the school staff. |
