The students of 4,5 and 6 classes had a field trip to the Nandini Milk Plant at Doddabathi today. It was a fun filled educative experience getting to know the various stages that milk goes through before it reaches the consumer. Processes like standardization and homogenization that ensure consistency of milk, Pasteurization that ensures that the milk is safe to drink and finally packaging were all interesting aspects observed and learnt by students.
