The children of 4th and 5th grade had a competition in flying parachutes. Whose ever parachute remained in the air for the longest time was considered the winner. School kids were encouraged to build parachutes.They collected plastic sheets, nylon clothes, string and light weights for suspension. A general pattern was given to them. But they were told that any modification can be made as they think.
